Pastor: Bill Flavin
Bill came on staff at Trinity in July 2009. Before then, Bill grew up in suburban Chicago. He then moved to Holland, MI where he met his wife Amy and attended both college and seminary. Bill loves to talk baseball and is a bit of a technology “geek.”
He is also one of those “runners” and has run in a number of marathons and half marathons. He is the proud father of his son Will, who God brought to our family in July 2012, and his daughter Addison, who arrived in late October of 2015. If you want to ask him a question or share a conversation over coffee or a meal, click here to send him a note.
Director of Youth and Worship: Josh Aschenbach
Josh was born and raised in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin and has been serving Trinity since November 2014. He met his best friend and wife, Meg, while attending Kuyper College. He is currently in school finishing his degree in Christian Ministry through Crown College. Josh and Meg became first time parents to their beautiful daughter, Hosanna, in November 2015 and are loving every minute! A few of Josh’s favorite things are family, Wisconsin sports, music, and his black lab October. More than all that, Josh’s passion is for unity in expanding God’s kingdom and glory through worship and service. He loves being able to get real with students in order to raise up the next generation of followers of Jesus Christ.
Director of Children’s Ministry : Laura Wise
Laura is originally from South Carolina, where she grew up attending a Southern Baptist Church. She got her bachelors degree from North Greenville University and is working towards a Master’s Degree in Family Counseling. She enjoys singing and creating unforgettable lessons that actively engage our kids and leaders. One of Laura’s favorite Bible verses can be found in Ephesians 6:7 & Colossians 3:23, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as if working for the Lord, not for human masters” (NIV). Laura has been at Trinity since January 2015.
Office Manager/Director of KIDS HOPE USA : Karen Paschke
Karen and her husband Dennis have been blessed with 3 amazing children: one college graduate, one in his second year of college and a little princess in third grade. Karen grew up Catholic and Dennis, Lutheran, so they looked for a place they could worship together. They knew that Trinity was the place for them when they visited the first time…20 years ago. Karen loves going into the local school to see the changes that friendship and prayer can make in our youth and community as a whole. A little kindness can make a real difference in someone’s life!
